User Governance
The User Governance section offers tenant admins robust tools for managing users and roles in their tenant. Use these features to maintain secure, efficient access control.
1. Overview
User Governance has two main tabs: Users and Roles, each focusing on a different aspect of identity management.
2. Users Tab
View and administer all users in your tenant:
2.1 Key Columns
- Username – Identifies the user account.
- Email – Contact email address.
- Enabled – Indicates if the account is active.
- Actions – Delete or modify users.
2.2 Creating a New User
- Click Create to open a user form.
- Enter username, email, and any required fields.
- Submit to add the user to the system.
2.3 Modifying User Roles
- Select a user’s username.
- Add or remove roles as needed.
- Save changes.
3. Roles Tab
Manage roles that define permissions for tenant resources:
3.1 Key Columns
- Name – Unique role identifier.
- Description – A short summary of the role’s responsibilities.
- Actions – Delete or modify roles.
3.2 Creating a New Role
- Click Create to open a role form.
- Specify the role name and description.
- Submit to finalize.
3.3 Assigning Roles
- Click a role name to see assigned users.
- Add or remove users as needed.
